Bloody years flying by...
Dec. 13th, 2010 10:56 amI feel old. I was just walking up the street and bumped into someone (it's not an odd occurence - I'm very clumsy).
I said sorry, looked up and then recognised him. I used to babysit him when he was 5/6 years old. He informed me that he turned 21 yesterday. *sobs*

wendypops has a couple of days free from fixing my mistakes...
But I have lots to write; stocking fillers, sequels and christmas pressies, so any ideas for kicking it back into action, gimme!

wendypops has a couple of days free from fixing my mistakes...But I have lots to write; stocking fillers, sequels and christmas pressies, so any ideas for kicking it back into action, gimme!
Had an absolutely fantastic time at the Adam Lambert gig last night!
Adam was on top form (I know, when is he not?!) He sounded awesome, looked fab and was so funny on stage. There was a whole thing about his love of 'filling voids' that I won't go into here! The crowd were jumping (quite literally during If I had You) and I loved every bloody last second of it!
Soaked was beautiful. It makes me tear up a bit just to listen to it on the album, but live...just WOW!
Also, Adam licked his cane. He LICKED his fricking cane. I cannot tell you how great this was to witness.
I've also come to the decision that Tommy Joe is quite hot. I know, I'm apparantly quite behind the times on this one! I saw him up close after the show and he has the most amazing eyes!
I'm still trying to warm up so I think I may go on a little youtube visit to see if there are any vids to help me do so...

Ticket touts...oh how I hate you
Oct. 29th, 2010 02:57 pm I got up nice and early this morning in order to get some Take That concert tickets.
9am, lappy is open with five ticket companies open.
9.05am, tickets are on ebay at quadruple (at least) the face value.
11am, I get up and have a cuppa.
11.15am, One of my friends reports successfully buying a ticket.
12.47pm, I finally buy 1 solitary ticket for Cardiff.
How in *bleep* name did countlesstouts bastards secondary sellers buy so many tickets before actual fans. It makes me so angry.
But YAY! I'm going to see my favourite group reunited after 15 long years!

OMG!! Just looked at my email and I have my very first job interview on Friday! I know, 28 years old and never had an interview? Well, I just walked straight into the only jobs I've had and then I took 6 years off to bring my boys up.
But now...scared! Hubby is no help. Calm down, you can do it, blah, blah, blah. I just needed to vent my nervousness. And beg for some help/advice/slaps across the face.
