1. What is your favorite Christmas carol/song?
Slade - Merry Xmas Everybody
2.White lights or multicoloured?
I prefer white lights but I have a fibre optic tree this year that is multicoloured.
3. Do you have a cut tree, live tree or an artificial tree?
Artificial. Always have done. I couldn't cope with the dropping needles, or the disposal afterwards. Also, I think they look a bit bare.
4. Eggnog, mulled cider, or hot chocolate?
Hot chocolate by default - I've never tried the other two!
5. Do you decorate your house with lights?
No, I only decorate the living room and the bannister in the hallway.
6. Do you write a Christmas letter?
No, I just write Christmas cards.
7. Do you like receiving Christmas letters/photos?
Yes!
8. What is your favorite Christmas story/movie?
Love Actually. We watch it every year on Christmas Eve.
9. Have you ever made a gingerbread house?
Nope, I don't like gingerbread and to be honest, I wouldn't know where to begin!
10. Poinsettias or holly?
Poinsettias, definitely. They are so pretty!
11. Do you display a nativity scene?
Yes, a small one my eldest son picked up at the Christmas shop one year.
12. Do you bake Christmas cookies?
No, sadly I'm no good at cookies. Can fairy cakes count instead?
13. Ham or turkey?
Turkey, definitely! It just wouldn't be Christmas without turkey! I just hope the snow goes away so I can go and get mine soon!
14. In what languages can you wish someone a Merry Christmas (without cheating)?
English, Welsh and French.
15. Do you know all the words to Jingle Bells?
Of course! The proper version and the Batman smells version.
16. Do you put presents under the tree?
No! Santa brings them!
17. How do you eat a candy cane?
Suck it until it disappears. I would imagine - I don't like them!
18. What is your biggest holiday pet peeve?
People who put their decorations up too soon. Surely you would get bored of seeing the same lights for two months?
19. What is your favorite Christmas tradition?
Ooh, I can't decide! New pjs on Christmas Eve or turkey sandwiches for breakfast on Christmas Day.
20. What was (were) the best present(s) you ever got for Christmas?
Hubby proposed on Christmas Day, so that was quite nice.
